Incorporated and based in Arusha, Tanzania, SAFARI KINGS TANZANIA LTD is an innovative and unique safari company. We hold all relevant permits, insurances and permissions to operate as a fully accredited Safari operator in East Africa. (For our Australian clients & agents, we also have an administrative office in Sydney, Australia). All of our safari’s operate on a minimum of two guests and are always private (i.e You’ll never share the safari vehicle with people you do not know)…. The company is owned & operated by professional wildlife photographer, Mark Fitzsimmons from Australia and the highly experienced Safari guide, Elia Mollel from Tanzania. Safari Kings is also a proud member of TATO (Tanzania Association of Tour Operators).

Although our origins are in photography based safaris, we also very much look after couples, friends and families on traditional safaris too (where the emphasis is not necessarily always focused on capturing award winning images). We are of course always happy to help you with your photography, regardless of ability and will give you guidance to capture great images even if you’re using just an iPhone!

Our purpose built Land Cruiser vehicles are immaculately maintained, are fit for purpose and include large removable windows, pop-up roof, charging points for your gear, clean filtered water and an onboard fridge.

In order to provide complete driving/accomodation packages, we have also partnered with like minded professionally run safari camps and can cater for all budgets on a “Bronze” to “Platinum” rated accomodation system. In fact, we handle everything for you after your arrival into the country.

Our main focus is the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. We also operate in other wilderness areas and can put together an incredible itinerary that will incorporate at least three different eco systems and varied safari locations. These include Tarangire & Lake Manyara National Parks, the Ngorongoro Crater, Amboseli (in neighbouring Kenya) plus the less visited but incredible Lake Natron, Selous and Ruaha Game Reserves. We operate all year round taking advantage of the various seasons and migration patterns of the wildlife.

While it’s great to be on Safari, we also believe it’s important for our guests to experience the rich culture of Tanzania too, therefore we can also organise visits to meet Maasai tribes and even one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa, the Hadza (Hadzabe) located on the edge of the Serengeti plains and in the shadow of the Ngorongoro Crater.

On our website, you will find suggested itineraries based on variety, budget and logistics however we are also happy to work with you to put together other unique and adventure based trips that combine epic 4WD experiences and/or short hops in light aircraft. For photographers, we can also put together incredible wildlife trips for you that also take in neighbouring Kenya & Uganda plus lessor known parks within Tanzania.
