Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater & Ndutu – Tanzania.
The very name “Serengeti” conjures up an image of vast African plains teaming with wildlife… Located in north-central Tanzania, the Serengeti is world renowned as one of the best locations on earth for wildlife and nature photography. Following the seasonal rains through Tanzania and Kenya, the migration has to be seen to be believed with over 1.5 million wildebeest & zebra marching on the never ending cycle of life & death passing through dangerous territory and evading lethal predators that can snatch their lives at any given moment. The drama and spectacle is breathtaking. If you only ever come to Africa once, then we highly recommend this outstanding Garden of Eden.
The Serengeti isn’t just about the migration of course. The area has a year-round abundance of resident wildlife including herds of elephants, incredible birdlife, giraffes, zebra, large prides of lions, elusive leopards and not forgetting of course, the magnificent cheetahs. The eastern Serengeti is easily the best place in sub-Saharan Africa to witness and photograph the fastest land animal on earth.
Game viewing in the Serengeti is unsurpassed, an ancient sanctuary of wondrous beauty with stunning mornings that will make you feel alive coupled with fiery sunsets will will take your breath away! Please contact us for more information on a 2025/26 safari in this stunning location.
Massai Mara – Kenya.
The Maasai Mara is the jewel in the crown for Kenya. The people are welcoming, the Maasai culture is fascinating and the diversity of the wildlife (large & small) is truly jaw-dropping. This along with rolling hills, epic savannahs and some of the best river locations to witness the staggering 1.5 million wildebeest that cross over from Tanzania from July through to October make “The Mara” a truly inspiring place to visit for every aspiring wildlife photographer.
Our preferred camp in the unfenced Maasai Mara Reserve is the very authentic Matira Bush Camp. One of our personal favourites not only because of it’s superb central location but also because of it’s wonderful staff and owners. The camp stands in the very heart of the famous Mara river basin and plays centre stage to one of East Africa’s most diverse wildlife locations. To be laying in bed at night and hear the deep roaring of lions close by is without doubt an experience that you’ll never forget. The Mara has it all and will keep bringing you back! Please make contact for more information about your next great adventure!
Amboseli National Park – Kenya.
Amboseli National Park is in southern Kenya. It’s known for its large elephant herds and views of the towering Mount Kilimanjaro (that is located across the border in neighbouring Tanzania). Amboseli offers a great add-on to a Serengeti trip as we are able to access the park very easily with a ground based transfer at the Namanga Gate. Located in a private conservancy bordering the national park, our accomodation choice here is the fantastic and very exclusive Elewana Tortilis Camp.
Expect to see varied wildlife including giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species. However, the real stars of the show in Amboseli are its magnificent 1000+ elephants. The western section of the park is dominated by the vast Lake Amboseli, which is dry outside the rainy season however is home to incredible birdlife (including the Greater and Lesser Flamingo) at other times. Amboseli is a hidden gem and well worth a visit. No time to waste, click here to make contact for an epic 2025/26 trip!
Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kabale & Bwindi Impenetrable Forests – Uganda.
Svalbard (Spitsbergen) Arctic Expedition.
Halfway between mainland Norway and the North Pole lies Svalbard. One of the most spectacular & pristine wilderness areas in the world, it has the look and feel of the last frontier and with good reason.
After arriving in Longyearbyen, we board the M/S Stockholm the following day. The Stockholm is a small (but very comfortable) expedition ship with a fantastic crew and is purposely built for high Arctic adventures. Total passenger numbers are limited to a maximum of 12 therefore ensuring personalised service by the crew that also includes two expert Polar guides.
In our quest for epic wildlife images, two zodiacs can be deployed at a moments notice to photograph polar bears, walruses and the illusive Arctic fox. For those into birding, the Arctic is rich in diversity with incredible opportunities. Please contact us for more information on this incredible experience in 2025/26/27.
